Today, I want to talk to you about car repairing. This is my own personal experience.

Three months ago, the engine reported a fault code, so I drove the car to a place I often go to maintain. The computer diagnosis showed that the exhaust gas recirculation valve was broken, so I ordered the parts to be replaced.

After a week, the engine reported a fault code again, and I went to check it, and it showed that it was still a problem with the exhaust gas circulation valve.

I ordered another part and replaced it. At that time, I thought, it is not good to catch up with the previous batch of parts. As a result, after four or five days, the engine trouble code lights up again.

I drove back and checked again, and it showed that the exhaust gas circulation valve was still broken. The car mechanic replaced the oxygen sensor and a valve next to it, which cost a few hundred dollars. This time, I thought to myself, is it all right? As a result, three days later, the engine reported a fault code again.

It seems that the original place cannot be gone. There is a car repair chain downstairs in the office. When I went to him to check the results, the exhaust gas circulation valve was replaced again, saying that the valve replaced last time was not the original one.

After running for half a month after the replacement, the engine fault code lights up again. I drove the car back to check and the problem is still the same. I changed another valve. As a result, after running for 6 days, the engine fault code lights up again.

I thought to myself, could the car be repaired? If the first one is unprofessional, is the second one unprofessional?

So I went online to find a specialist shop of this brand, and made an appointment with the other party and I went there.

When I arrived at the store, the problem displayed by the computer test was the exhaust gas circulation valve. The store owner told me that this valve has a very high precision and needs to be replaced by the original one. This piece costs more than 800 yuan. At this time, I don’t believe it It’s not the original factory, I just hope this problem can be solved.

As of today, this piece has been replaced for more than a month, and the engine has never reported a fault code.

Sometimes it’s a little funny when I think about it myself. When I think about it, it’s the same as what we did to repair the water leakage in the bathroom. Many owners have encountered water leakage in the bathroom, which is a headache.

If you go to the market to find a waterproof repairer, there will be three solutions. The first is to avoid breaking bricks for waterproofing. Re-paint a layer of transparent waterproofing on the ground without destroying the original ground. The second type is high-pressure grouting. Wherever there is water leakage, the grouting will be poured into it from where. The third is to find and deal with leaks, which may result in smashing tiles.

Many owners consider starting with a simple method, first using the first type, then using the second type, and finally using the third type.

After the water leakage was dealt with, I found out why I didn’t directly look for the third type, which was a waste of money and wasted effort.
