The pasted tile slab can be completely taken down with a suction cup, what is the problem?

This morning, an owner sent me a video and let me take a look at the content in the video, because the owner is also putting tiles of the same specification in his home, and he said that he was inexplicably scared.

I opened the video and saw this video. The content of the video is that an owner posted 750×1500 tiles on the floor. I don’t know how long it has been posted. One person’s strength took down the tile completely, and the back of the tile was very clean, with almost no cement mortar.

Let’s talk about how this happened and how to prevent it?

This happens because the wrong excipients are used. Now the size of tiles is getting bigger and bigger, and some bricklayers with older concepts still use the old method to lay tiles. I have been doing it for 20 years. If you use cement and sand to lay 800× There is no problem with tiles below 800 specifications, but it is risky to use cement sand to lay medium or even large tiles.

The grip of ordinary cement mortar is limited, and it can firmly grasp the tiles below 800 × 800, while the expansion and contraction tension of the large plate is larger than that of the 800 × 800 tiles, and the cement mortar cannot hold the tiles with large specifications. Tile hold firmly.

The fact that there is little cement mortar on the back of the tile after the tile is taken down is enough to illustrate this point.

How should this situation be prevented?

I just mentioned that this is the wrong use of accessories. For tiles like 600×1200 and 750×1500, the best construction method is the thin paste method, but if the ground is like this, the construction cost is more expensive.

The tiles of these two specifications can use traditional cement mortar as the base layer, the difference is that the back of the tile can not use cement paste, but use the equivalent tile glue.

The tile adhesive is selected according to the specifications of the tiles, not just one can be used. tile glue.

This is like buying a high-end car. Some cars have to add No. 98 gasoline, but if you add No. 92 gasoline as originally, it will bring vibrations in the car, the engine is dull, and even a fault code will be reported.

Large-scale ceramic tiles have been a popular trend in the past two years. It is difficult to say that larger-sized tiles will appear in the next two years. The products will be upgraded and the accessories should be upgraded.
