Can the plaster line be pasted above the air outlet of the central air conditioner?

A few days ago, an owner asked me if the plaster line could be pasted above the air outlet of the central air conditioner. I felt that only three sides of the plaster line would not look good.

It just so happens that we have a construction site, and the central air conditioner is also installed. The plaster line has been pasted, so I will use this construction site to answer the owner’s question.

Let’s first calculate the total height required for the air conditioner outlet and the plaster line.

The height of the air outlet of the air conditioner is generally 15 cm, and the height of the plaster line of 10 cm is about 8 cm after pasting, so the theoretical height occupied by these two types will reach 23 cm. Centimeters are empty, so it takes at least 25 cm to add to one piece.

Therefore, as long as the hanging height of the ceiling of the central air-conditioning unit can reach 25 cm, the plaster line can be pasted.

There are two ways to make gypsum line. The first is to calculate the height according to the normal calculation just mentioned. The height of the air outlet of the internal unit is the same as the height of the external air outlet. This requires the height of the central air conditioner. Drop down a bit, leaving room above.

The second method is to make the ceiling slightly wider. For example, the width of the inner unit is 55 cm, and the ceiling can be made 65 cm.

There will be a piece of canvas that can move freely on the air outlet of the internal unit. The standard length is about 30 cm. Make the ceiling wider to give the canvas room to move, even if the air outlet of the internal unit is high and the air outlet of the ceiling is low. , can also be easily connected.

Which of these two methods is used depends on whether the central air conditioner or the duct fan is used in the home.

The air duct machine is only one internal machine, and the height and low of the internal machine hanging have little effect, so it is better to use the first method. The home is a central air conditioner, and there are multiple internal units. If there are many internal units, it will involve piping and drainage.
