When the two owners communicated, I looked at the tiles on the ground and found that the seams left on the ground were not reserved according to the dense seam paving, but reserved according to one millimeter.

There will be ties on the packaging of the tiles, and now the seam between the two tiles is the thickness of a tie, which is the original practice of laying tiles.

This method cannot be called close-seam paving, it is just paving according to the original construction method. I don’t know if the owner really doesn’t understand it, or if the bricklayer said something to the owner.

This kind of paving is the same as the conventional construction method for paving with large seams. It is nothing more than that the tool for leaving the seam is changed from a cable tie to a special cross card. In this way, the construction cost is normal and it should be.

This community is equipped with floor heating, so laying such a large-scale floor tile will have a great risk in the later stage.

Maybe some owners said that the tiles before were not all laid like this?

Yes, it was like this before, but it is different now. First, the ground is now floor heating, but it used to be a radiator. The difference in ground temperature will lead to different expansion coefficients of tiles. Second, the size of the original tiles on the ground will not exceed 800*800, and now such large tiles are still laid according to the old method, and the probability of problems in the later stage is very large.

I feel that the reason for this situation is that the owner has heard the word “seam paving”, but he does not know how to construct it. When communicating with the bricklayer, he took the initiative to put forward this request, and the bricklayer I haven’t done real close-seam paving, and I still follow the old method.
