WuXi PharmaTech Central China headquarters base was completed and opened in Optics Valley Biocity today.
Founded in 2000, WuXi AppTec provides integrated, end-to-end new drug R&D and production services for the global biopharmaceutical industry. It has operating bases in Asia, Europe, and North America, with more than 39,000 employees worldwide.
In 2010, WuXi AppTec settled in Wuhan and established a base. It was one of the earliest companies to settle in Optics Valley Biocity, providing customers with new small molecule drug research and development services, including drug molecular design, customized synthesis, and lead compound generation and optimization. , high-throughput analytical separation, analytical testing, etc.
The WuXi PharmaTech Central China headquarters base project will start construction in March 2021, and will be put into trial operation in August 2022.
On the basis of the original Wuhan base, it will further expand production capacity and improve efficiency. Through the leading integrated empowerment platform, the threshold for research and development will be lowered and the process of new drug research and development will be accelerated.
